At Hempen Hill BBQ we understand the importance of giving back when something is given to us. So we accept solicitations for donations during January 1-31 each calendar year. During February we review all the request to determine where we can best support the community. Feel free to submit requests to:

As an alternative, we offer BENEFIT NIGHT throughout the year. Simply call (301) 797-4455 to reserve any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday one week in advance for your organization, then you invite supporters of your organization to dine at Hempen Hill BBQ for lunch or dinner that day...We will in turn donate back to your organization 15% of all food sales. History of Hempen Hill BBQ
The idea of owning a restaurant has always been a dream of ours! While life happened around us it remained a dream we never let go. Instead we continued to host countless gatherings at our home on "Hempen Hill" with friends and family. Through these gatherings, it became a forum to entertain and try out new ideas. So in late December of 2004 we took a leap of faith and formed HEMPEN HILL BBQ CATERING. With the continuing success with each Catering we took yet another leap into a full service restaurant in October 2006. It is because of great staff, faithful regulars and awesome guests that Hempen Hill BBQ has become what it is today... The Place Where Locals go! Thanks for making our dreams into a reality.Cheers,
